RuneScape

I play RuneScape and I have played it for a long time. RuneScape is a very fun browser based MMORPG that is free. For $5.95 per month you can buy membership which allows you to get exclusive items and more of the world of RuneScape unlocked. I'm not a member but it is still very fun. Sometimes RuneScape does get boring and I don't go on for several months but at least once a year I start playing again, and then I stop, and it keeps happening over and over again. RuneScape is a game where you fight monsters and get money to spend on things. You can level up in many many skills such as Combat, Cooking, Fishing, Mining, Smithing, Woodcutting and many others. You can use magic, or archery, or swordsmanship to hunt mighty beasts down. As you level up in combat you unlock new weapons and armor to equip your charactor with. When playing you can talk to other charactors and be friends with them, or you can create hugely expanding clans to fight in Clan Wars and to take down monsters, or a clan of miners, or woodcutters to gather as many resources possible. Fight for your life in this Epic online game. Do quests to get money and items and to unlock new abilities. Make your name famous in the highscores and become a RuneScape master!

Death Note (Anime)

Death Note an anime T.V. series is about a high school boy named Light Yagami who does exceedingly well in all his subjects in school. Although he does good in school Light is bored. One day in class looking out the window he sees a notebook falling down outside. When school is finished Light goes down to where the notebook had landed and found it there. In english writing the book says Death Note. Light picks it up and looks at the first page, full of instructions. The person who's name is written in this note shall die within fourty seconds. Light just drops the book immediately thinking it is some practical joke. He starts to walk away and then thinking he's crazy, turns around and picks it up and heads home. He goes straight to his room and looks at the first page again. The writer must have the persons face in mind when writing the persons name to not affect a person who has the same name. If the cause of death is not specified the person will die in fourty seconds of a heart attack. Light thinks that for a practical joke it is pretty intricate. He turns on his T.V. and goes to the news channel. There is a hostage situation going on. The police have identified the man and put his name and face on the screen. Light looks to the note book, opens it, and writes the mans name. He waits fourty seconds. Nothing happens. Just as he is about to turn off his T.V. the news reporter says "Wait, something is happening. The hostages are coming out!" Light is surprised. Thinking it must be a coincedince he decides that if the notebook really does work, he is going to create a good world. A new world. And he will be the god of it. I give the show 5 out of 5 stars.

Spore

Spore, by Maxis, is a game that came out recently in 2008 for the PC and MAC. Spore takes you through five stages of evolution, each stage you have to befriend creatures and build a civalization that way, or you can fight and kill and bring other creatures to extinction to rule the galaxy. In Spore the first stage of evolution is the Cell Stage. Chomping you way through plants or other cells entirely you strive to get to land and evolve into a creature. You can chose herbivore or carnivore and unlock weapons and attachments that make you faster throughout the whole stage, by killing big cells, or finding meteorite bits. Then as you grow you find yourself going into land, evolving into a creature. While a creature you can befriend or fight other animals. Find bones to get new parts for your creature and evolve into the strongest or charmiest creature on the planet. After migrating to another nest several times you make fire and evolve into the tribal stage. Yet again you can either befriend or kill other tribes until you have all of them under your influence or control. Once finished dominating all the tribes you can move onto the Civalization stage. You make buildings and create vehicles for you creature to ride around in to religously influence other civilaztions to join you, or you can bribe them, or, as always, you can annihlate them. After taking control of the whole planet, every civilatioin, you move onto the Space stage. Riding through space in a customizable spaceship, you must dominate the galaxy and get to the center of it. Heavily guarded by the Grox, an evil civilization ruling much of the galaxy, guide your way through to the center of the universe to get something unknown. I give Spore (the videogame) 9.5 out of 10 stars for amazing game and how you can customize pretty much everything.

Spongebob Squarepants

WHO LIVES IN A PINEAPPLE UNDER THE SEA! Spongebob Squarepants duh... Spongebob Squarepants, the sensational Nickelodeon cartoon that is broadcasted in many many countries. Spongebob Squarepants is the number one cartoon in many countries and has many episodes. Spongebob Squarepants' uniqueness is that it is just so weird. When presented to them, Nickelodeon made a huge risk actually making and broadcasting episodes on t.v. Either it would be a hit, or everyone would be going "Wha...?" Spongebob is extravagently funny for anyone, any age. It's very interesting how the whole show is done and it might be the reason why so many people like it. While most T.V. shows are about kids or teenagers, Spongebob Squarepants is about adults with jobs that have gone to college and live alone without parents. While they are all adults, they all show more of a twelve year old side rather then a mature adult side. Spongebob and Patrick are pretty much just kids while Squidward is like a young adult annoyed by them. Mr. Krabs is the only real adult other then random characters that walk in the streets and what not. I think that Spongebob Squarepants was also such a sucess because of all the weird things in it. Its a sponge, who lives in a pineapple, neighboors with a squid and a starfish who live in and Easter Island Head or under a rock. There's a restaurant called the "Krusty Krab" owned by none other than Mr. Krabs himself. Spongebob and Squidward both work there. Then there's the little tiny evil character, Plankton. Plankton is exactly what he is, a plankton. Plankton's life goal is to steal the krabby patty formula and harness its "energy" and use it to rule the world. Sadly, right after the Spongebob Squarepants movie, the creator resigned and since then many people have agreed that the episodes have gotten boring, not funny, gross (not like it wasn't gross before but what there putting into them now is just disturbing) and other things not good. Many people (like myself) think the episodes are getting better, but they still just don't give that kick they used to. Overall I really do love Spongebob Squarepants and if you haven't watched it yet "QUIT YER' LOLLYGAGGIN' AND GET TO IT!"

Call of Duty : World at War

Call of Duty : World at War is the first game of many I shall rate and give my personal opinion upon. Call of Duty : World at War is a very fun online game. There are many game modes and weapons you can chose from, customizing classes for your marine to use against the enemy. Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Free for all, and more are some of the fun game modes you can play in. Something new that has never done in any of the Call of Duty games before is a special cooperative game mode called Nazi Zombies. In the game mode Nazi zombies, you and three friends defend your self from round after round of attacks from Nazi Zombies. Currently there are three Nazi Zombie maps out, Nacht Der Untoten (Night of the undead), Verruckt (Crazy, insane,) and Shi no numa. I give 9.5 out of 10 stars to Call of Duty : World at War, for hours of long lasting gameplay.
